Clinical observation of vaqina delivery apply carboprost methlate suppositories reduce postpartum hemorrhage

Objective To observe the effect of carbprost methylate suppositories rectal administration in reduction of postpartum hemorrhage.Methods 500 cases of mature pregnant women of vaqina delivery were recuited randomly in two group.250 cases in treatment group using carboprost rectal administration,250 cases in control group using oxytocin.The amount of the hemorrhage in postpartum within 2 hours were recorded.Results The amount of the hemorrhage in postpartum within 2 hours in carboprost group was significantly lesser than that in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Carboprost methylate suppositories is a effcient and convenient method to decrease postpartum hemorrhage.
