Abstract

Objective To study the effects of Resveratraol on viability of fibroblasts and type Ⅰand Ⅲ collagen syntheses and degradation in hypertrophic scars. Methods(1)Various concentrations of Resveratroal were added into the medium and co-incubated with FB for different time period.MTT assay was employed to detect proliferation of fibroblast.(2)With Resveratraol was performed on hypertrophic scars. On the 3rd day and 7th day, type Ⅰ and Ⅲ procollagen mRNA expressions were studied by means of immunohistochemistry and molecular biology. Results(1)The data of the present study demonstrated that Resveratraol in various concentrations inhibite proliferation of fibroblast.(2)On the 3rd day after with Resveratraol. Both type Ⅰand Ⅲ procollagen mRNA expressions were significantly inhibited and on the 7th day both procollagen mRNA expressions decreased further. With Resveratraol may inhibit type Ⅰprocollagen mRNA expression more than type Ⅲ. Conclusions Resveratraol may inhibit viability of fibroblasts and type Ⅰand Ⅲ procollagen mRNA expression.
