Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in cirrhosis. Methods In our hospital from January 2010 to January 2013, 60 cases of upper gastrointestinal bleeding according to different methods of care were randomly divided into intervention group of 30 patients and control group of 30 patients, the control group received conventional symptomatic care, while intervention group treated with implementation of integrated care intervention, the efficacy, bleeding, hospitalization time, complications and nursing satisfaction were compared. Results The effective rate of intervention group was 90.0%,the effective rate of the control group was 73.3%, there was significant difference between two groups(P 0.05). Bleeding, hospitalization time of intervention group were shorter than the control group, there was significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05). There was significant difference between the two groups in complication rate(P 0.05). Nursing satisfaction of intervention group reached 96.7%, significantly higher than the control groups, there was significant difference(P 0.05). Conclusion Patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding cirrhotic implied comprehensive nursing interventions can significantly improve the efficacy, shorter hospital stays, reduce complications and improve nursing satisfaction.
