Abstract

ObjectiveTo evaluate the therapeutic effect of asiaticoside for facial dermatosis after laser surgery.(MethodsSixty)-one patients were randomly divided into trial and control groups. The wound in the trial group was treated with(0.5 g/L) iodophor, then asiaticoside, daily;while the control group, with 0.5 g/L iodophor only. The healing of the wound was compared between the two groups.ResultsThe healing time of the trial group was significantly shorter than the control group(t=3.30,P0.01).The differences of integra of the wound between the two groups after one month(t=4.04,P0.01) and six months were significant(t=7.81,P0.01).ConclusionAsiaticoside has a role in accelerating wound healing and preventing scar formation, which is effective for facial dermatosis after laser surgery.
