Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Eosinophil-Lactobacillus Compound Tablets in the treating mild and mod-erate ulcerative colitis. Methods: 102 cases with mild to moderate active ulcerative colitis are randomized into group A(34 cases),group B(34 cases) and group C(34 cases). In the first stage, the three groups take mesalazine,Eosinophil-Lactobacillus Compound Tablets and combine the two drugs respective for 12 weeks, then assess the three groups ' clinical therapeutic effect, clinical remission rate and the remission time.In the second stage, the three groups' relapse-free time and relapse rate are determined after following up for 1 year. Results: In first stage, after 12 weeks treatment there is no statistical differences among the 3 groups' in clinical therapeutic effect,clini-cal remission rate and the remission time(P0.05).In second stage, there is no differences between three groups in relapse-free time and relapse rate(P0.05).Conclusion: Eosinophil-Lactobacillus Compound Tablets are effective in treating mild and moderate active ulcera-tive colitis and preventing relapse.
