Abstract

The blasting for demolition of boatyard cofferdam is often operated by dividing the operation into underwater rock blasting and stage cofferdam blasting so as to reduce the charge quantity in one blas-ting,to increase the blasting vibration and to ensure a reliable ignition.The paper discussed one engineer-ing blasting example of underwater rock and cofferdam blasting by using common drill device and common blasting material.The experience from this paper could be of value to similar engineering.
