Abstract
Objective:To observe the behavior and brain tissue and serum catalase(CAT) activity, malondialdehyde(MDA) content impact through animal experiments and to further explore its mechanism. Methods:Choose 30 Wister rats and divide them into fake surgical operation group, model group and electro-acupuncture(EA)group randomly, every group has 10 rats. The model group and EA group adopt the wayof injecting proper amyloid protein β1-40(Aβ1-40)to rats' left side hippocampus to induce Alzheimer's disease pattern and verify it.Fake surgical operation group injects the same dosage of physiological saline in the same position.Model group and fake surgical operation group are without any treatment, but use the same grasp and fix like EA group.EA group:choose the acupoints Shenshu,Fengfu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao and use EA,once a day, after two courses treatment, test the rats' behavior and memory of Y type labyrinth and the CAT activity,MDA content in rats' brain tissue and blood serum. Then use statistical analysis. Results:The Y-maze test times of model group are more than that of fake surgical operation group(P0.05);EA group requires less training times than that of model group(P0.05).Compared with model group,EA group can increase the vitality of CAT(P0.05)and decrease the contents of MDA.Conclusion:Apply EA to the points Shenshu,Fengfu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao can reduce the frequency of rats' alzheimer's disease through the test, increase the vitality of CAT and decrease the contents of MDA in rats' brain tissue and blood serum. The mechanism is probably like that:EA upgrades the vitality of CAT's antioxidation system to protect neurone, and strengthen the function of oxyradical's purge system, and then improve antioxidation ability of human body.
