Clinical Study of Danhong Injection on Nerve Conduction Velocity in Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Abstract

Objective Study on the nerve conduction velocity effect of diabetes peripheral neuropathy of legs with Danhong injection.Methods Sixty patients exactly diagnosed as having diabetic peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into two groups,the combination group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases).On the basis of the same basic treatment,the combination group was treated with Danhong injection and prostaglandin E1,the control group with simple prostaglandin E1.Observed and recorded the changes of rational symptoms,signs and electromyography.Results Nerve conduction velocity and symptom severity improved in both combination and control groups and more obviously in the combination group.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Based on basic treatment,Danhong injection and prostaglandin E1 take good satisfaction curative effect on diabetes peripheral neuropathy of legs,worthy of clinical extensive expansion application.
