Effect of Prostaglandin E_1 and Danhong Injection on Diabetic peripheral neuropathy

Abstract

Objective:Study on the therapeutic effect of diabetic peripheral neuropathy with prostaglandin E1 and Danhong injection.Method: 54 DPN patients were randomly divided into two groups : the treatment group(30 cases) and the control group(24 cases).The control group were treated with Danhong injection 30-50ml solved in NS 250ml intravenously one time every day.The treatment group were treated with prostaglandin E1 100μg in NS 250ml intravenously one time every day inaddition.Each course lasted for two weeks.Observe and record the changes of rational symptoms,signs and electromyography.Result: It had a significant difference in both groups between the two groups before and after the treatment(P0.05).The treatment group had an advantage over the control group in improving rational symptoms,signs and electromyography.Conclusion: Prostaglandin E1 and Danhong injection on diabetic peripheral neuropathy had distinct effect compared with Danhong injection only.It was safe and effective.
