Abstract

In orderto analyze the urban competition of 11 central cities of Hebei Province, evaluating index ofurban com-petition has been designed and the measure of upgrading urban competition has been discussed. During the analyzing, factor analysis has been used. And the 11 central cities are distinguished into three types. Superiority and inferiority of each city are analyzed, and four advices are given to improve the city competition.
