Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the characteristics and regular pattern of the adverse drug reactions(ADRs) in order to promote clinical rational use of drugs and reduce the incidence of ADR.METHODS: 136 ADR cases collected in hospital from 2009 to 2010 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS: In the 136 ADR cases,females(80 cases/58.82%) showed higher proportion than males(56 cases/41.18%),with 79(58.09%) induced via intravenous drip infusion, and 79(57.66%) caused by anti-infection drugs in which fluoroquinolones took the lead followed by Chinese traditional patent medicine,96(50.53%) manifested as lesions of skin and accessories.CONCLUSION: ADRs is caused mainly by anti-infective drugs and Chinese traditional patent medicine, rational use of these drugs is the key to reduce ADR incidence.Strengthening ADR monitoring,ADR prevention and individualized therapy are important for ensuring safe drug use.
