Abstract
Objective To investigate the incidence of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases(ESBLs) in Gram-negative bacilli. Methods ESBLs were detected by the disc diffusion confirmatory test and the drug resistant rate was investigated. Results 24 strains positive ESBLs from 187 Gram-negative bacilli were examined. They were resistant to 13 kinds of antibiotics in common use,and the rate was higher than 50%.Conclusion ESBLs in Gram-negative bacilli has high antibiotic resistance. To investigate the incidence of ESBLs in gram-negative bacilli are necessary for clinic.
