Abstract
The Zn(Ⅱ) complex with bis(3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid) and bis(1,10-phenanthroline) was synthesized by the reaction of zinc acetate with 1,10-phenanthroline and 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid. The crystal structures was determined by X-ray diffraction. A crystal of the complex belongs to monoclinic with space group P2(1)/c,a=1.9141(7)nm,b=1.9681(8)nm,c=1.0052nm,β= 95.668(7)° , V=3.768nm3,Dc=1.576kg·m -3 ,Z=4,μ=0.734mm -1 ,F(000)=1832,R1= 0.0482 , Rw2=0.0940.The Zn atom rendered six-coordinate in a distorted octahedron geometry.
