Tracheotomy support breathing, improve ventilation and oxygenation, helps the patient to cross acute respiratory obstruction, is the rescue of patients with severe brain damage one of the important measures. However, improper care, easy to cause airway obstruction and tempt induced lung infection and other complications, severe cases can be life-threatening. This article report patients with severe head injury after tracheotomy of nursing experience.
