Nursing Experience of Tracheotomy in Severe Brain Injury Patients

Objective To Discuss of severe brain injury patients tracheotomy care methods.Methods 51 cases of severe brain injury patients after tracheotomy care and the evolution of the disease were retrospectively analyzed.Results 51 cases of patients we take care measures,in addition to two cases due to serious brain injury deaths,45 cases(88%)security through the acute phase,4 cases(7%)occurred lung infection,after aggressive therapy,extubation casings were discharged. Con- clusion For severe brain injury patients after tracheotomy,make primary health care,and take effective airway wetlands,the timely removal of airway secretions,prevent lung infection,prevent gastrointestinal vomitns back to the inflow of respiratory and other measures,is the most important task of nursing care.
