Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of primary hypertension. Methods: 120 cases with primary hypertension received by this hospital from March,2013 to August,2014 were included and randomized into observation group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. Observation group were received TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment combined with western medicine treatment and control group were given western medicine treatment. The clinical effects of two groups were observed. Results: The clinical blood pressure of the 7 d,14 d,21 d and 28 d of treatment, the systolic pressure and diastolic blood pressure in observation group were lower than these in control group( P 0. 05). The score of syndromes( syndrome of liver-fire exuberance, syndrome of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity, exuberant phlegm-damp syndrome, syndrome of both yin and yang deficiency) in observation group were all lower than these in control group( P 0. 05). The function of the target organ, level of 24 h urine protein in observation group was lower than that in control group; the endogenous creatinine clearance rate, and levels of LVEF,LVE,D D in observation group were all lhigher than these in control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment combined with western medicine is helpful to lower the blood pressure, improve the symptoms and syndromes, prevent the target organ' s function impairment and improve the therapeutic effects.
