Abstract

Based on former researches about folk dwellings of Huizhou,taking the characteristics of the folk residence prototypes and the expansion mode as the starting point for analysis,this paper studies the inherent reasons how Huizhou dwellings took shape from a sociological perspective,and reveals that the regional clan culture may have influenced and decided the formation of the dwelling prototypes.
