Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of atorvastatin in treating stable angina pectoris.Methods:65 patients with stable angina pectoris were randomly divided into two groups. One group was treated with conventional therapy.Meanwhile, the other 33 patients in treatment group,on the basis of conventional therapy, were treated by atorvastatin 20 mg once a day, with a treatment course of 12 weeks for both groups. The outbreak of angina, change of electrocardiogram, level of blood fat and hs-CRP were observed before and after treatment. Results:In all cases, the outbreak of angina, change of electrocardiogram were improved after treated for 12 weeks. The level of blood fat and hs-CRP were improved markedly. Conclusion:Atorvastatin could significantly decrease the local inflammation of acute coronary syndrome.
