Abstract
Objective: To explore effect sof community nursing intervention on quality of life in elderly patients with hypertension. Methods: 200 elderly patients with hypertension were randomly divided into two groups, each group of 100 cases. The control group received routine nursing; on this basis, the patients in the observation group were given community nursing intervention. Six months later, the blood pressure control and quality of life of the two groups were recorded and compared. Results: The obvious effective rate and total effective rate of blood pressure control of observation group were higher than those of control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant( P 0. 05). The community nursing intervention group patients with physical function, psychological function, social ability, the living condition of the scores were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusions: The community nursing intervention can effectively control blood pressure in the elderly patients, improve the quality of life, and reduce complications.
