Abstract

With the popularization of network application,the network safety has been becoming apparent.IPSec can provide the highest level of security,therefore,it is very natural to employ it in the field of VPN.This paper introduces the concept of VPN at first,then describes IPSec protocol architecture and working mode in detail,and finally presents the method to implement IPSec VPN on Linux system by using Frees/WAN software.
