Abstract
Objective To study the changes of systemic cellular immunity in patients with sero-resistance of syphilis and to their mechanisms. Methods T lymphocyte subsets and NK cell were measured by flow cytometry in peripheral blood of 38 sero-resistance and 23 healthy subjects. Results The CD3~+,CD8~+ and Th2 showed no obvious differences between sero-resistance group and the healthy control group(P0.05);but CD4~+,Th1,Tc and NK cells in patients were lower than in healthy controls(P0.01).Ts in patients were higher than in the healthy controls(P0.01).Conclusions Patients with sero-resistance of syphilis have low cell-mediated immunity, which might play an important role in the pathogenesis of serofastness of the patients.
