Abstract
Objective to observe the relationship between carotid atherosclerosis(Cas) and coronary artery atherosclerosis(CAAs) in patient of coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods coronary angiogrphy measurement was performed in 102 patients with coronary heart disease to judge the degree of coronary artery atherosclerosis The carotiad-intima media thickness(IMT) and carotid plagues were measured by ultrasound. Results There was significant difference between CAAs with CHD in IMT,(p0.01) Conclusion Cas are associated with CAAs in patients with coronary heart disease.
