Abstract
The fluorine-containing acrylate emulsion was prepared by using organofluorine monomers, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, acrylic as comonomers. The technical condition including kind of emulsifier, amount of emulsifier, reactive temperature, amount of initiator, time and amount of organofluorine monomers on the properties of emulsion were discussed. The obtained emulsion is characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscope, contact angle etc.The results showed that the emulsion had a high conversion rate(99%),condensate monomers is 19 wt% while 85℃,2.5 h,using R-A / R-D composite emulsifie(r0.24 wt%),amount of initiator is 0.3 wt% and amount of organofluorine monomers is 20 wt%.The membrane shows excellent hydrophobicity.
