Abstract
In the experiment, the powder-viscous grain content were changed to test the compaction for finding out the viscous grain content boundary with different compaction methods.Directed against 12 kinds of coarse-grained soil with different nominal maximum diameter Dmax and different value n,through surface vibrated compaction and heavy compaction test methods in the lab,the relationship between the maximum dry density and graded index n is analyzed, and the boundary of n value is found out.For poor graded gravel soil, how to determine its maximum dry density and the degree of compaction test method were researched on.
