Abstract

The paper carries out indoor light and heavy compaction test of low liquid limit silt, and explores the differences of same soil compaction samples under different compaction methods. Tests show that: the higher the compaction energy, the larger of the maximum dry density of the same silt compaction, and the smaller of the optimal moisture. In addition, the in-situ compaction energy is in accordance with the indoor compaction test, the calculation compaction is real too.
