Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Valsartan combined with Amlodipine in treatment of essential hypertension.Methods:Eighty-one patients with essential hypertension were stochastically divided into group A,group B and group C(n=27).Group A was treated with Valsartan of 80 mg per time and one time a day, group B was treated with Amlodipine of 10 mg per time and one time a day and group C was treated with Valsartan of 40 mg per time and one time a day and Amlodipine of 5 mg per time and one time a day orally respectively. Results:The blood pressure of patients in three groups was obviously dropped(P0.01) and the effective rate of group C was specially higher than that of another two groups after treatment of 4 weeks in the three groups but there was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion: Valsartan combined with Amlodipine may achieve an ideal therapeutic effect in treatment of essential hypertension under small dosage conditions.
