Clinical Observation of Self-prescribed Decoction of Reducing Turbidity and Removing Stasis on Patients with Hyperlipemia

Objective:To observe the effect of self-prescribed decoction of reducing turbidity and removing stasis on patients with hyperlipemia. Methods:127 patients with hyperlipemia were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group ( 65 patients) and control group ( 62 patients). The patients in treatment group received with self-prescribed decoction,whereas the patients in control group were given with Zhibituo tablets for oral administration. After two months therapy,serum lipids and of changes in hemorheology of patients were analyzed and side-effects were observed. Results:No significant difference was observed in the levels of total cholesterol ( TC) ,triglyeride TG) ,low density lipoprotein cholesterol ( LDL-C) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol ( HDL-C) between two groups after the treatment ( P 0. 05). Moreover,there was no significant difference in plasma relative viscosity ( PRV) ,hematocrit ( HCT) ,platelet adhesion rate ( PAD) between two groups after the treatment ( P 0. 05). Total effective rate of treatment group and control group were 90. 77% and 91. 94% ,respectively,and no obvious difference was detected between the two groups ( P 0. 05). No side-effects were observed in treatment group. Conclusion:Self-prescribed decoction of reducing turbidity and removing stasis improves blood lipid metabolism remarkably with definite therapeutic effect and safety in application.
