Polymorphism of VKORC1-1639A/G in Healthy People of Han in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

Abstract

Objective To investigate the polymorphism of VKORC1-1639A/G in Han and the difference in the distribution of genetic polymorphism between Han population and other populations.Methods the polymorphism of VKORC1-1639A/G in 205 healthy people of Han was detected by using PCR-RFLP method.The genotype and allele frequencies were calculated and compared with those in other populations.Results VKORC1-1639A allele and VKORC1-1639G were detected in Han,the frequency of A allele and G allele in healthy Han population was 87% and 13% Three genotypes have been detected in Han,among which AA was the most common genotype,with the frequency of 74%,the frequency of AG 26%,the frequency of GG genotype less than 1%.Conclusion There is significant difference in the distribution of VKORC1-1639A/G polymorphism between Han and other European populations,allele A and genotype AA is common in Han.
