Abstract
Objective:To investigate the polymorphism of VKORC1-1639A/G in Han and Uygur population as well as the difference in the distribution of genetic polymorphism between Han population and other populations.Methods:the polymorphism of VKORC1-1639A/G in 205 healthy people of Han as well as in 204 healthy Uygur population was detected by using PCR-RFLP method.The genotype and allelic frequencies were calculated and compared with those in other populations.Results: VKORC1-1639A allele and VKORC1-1639G were detected in Han and Uygur population,the frequency of A allele and G allele in healthy Han population was 87%and 13%for separate,which for Uygur population was 62%and 38%for separate.Three genotypes have been detected.AA was the most common genotype in Han population,with the frequency of 74%.the frequency of AG was 26%,the frequency GG less than 1%.For Uygur population.AG genotype with high frequency of 58%,AA and GG genotype frequency was 33%and 9%for separate.Conclusion: There is significant difference in the distribution of VKORC1-1639A/G polymorphism between Han and Uygur population as well as America-European population,the distribution of VKORC1-1639A/G polymorphism of Uygur population is similar to that of America-European population.
