Abstract

Objective To explore the distribution of pathogens and drug resistance in blood infection samples. Methods Blood samples were cultured by Bactec9120,and the pathogens definition and resistance test were carried out by automatic microorganism identification instrument(Microscan Walk-Away 96).Result Totally 154 strains of pathogens were isolated from 1,465 blood culture samples, with the positive rate of 10.53%.Most(51.30%)of the pathogens were Gram-positive cocci,30.52% for Gram-negative bacilli,15.58% for fungi, and 2.60% were Gram-positive bacilli. The isolation rates of top ten were Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus,Staphylococcus epidermides,Staphylococcus hominis,Candida albicans,Klebsiella pneumonia,Candida tropicalis,Staphylococcus haemolyticus,Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Salmonella paratyphi A.Conclusions Most of the pathogens in blood culture samples were Gram-positive cocci, followed by Gram-negative bacilli. The resistance rate of Gram-positive cocci to vancomycin, zyvox, and QD was the lowest, and the resistance rate of Gram-negative bacilli to imipenem was the lowest.
