Abstract
Some problems often exist in the construction of water conservancy project,such as the effects of new construction on the existing structure and the interactions between the new constructions.Solving this problem has a great significance on reducing the impact damage on the existing buildings,ensuring the smooth implementation of new project construction,reducing investment and speeding up the construction progress,and ensuring to reduce the effects of new constructions on the environment to a minimum.In this paper,the impacts of new diversion tunnel construction on the existing railway tunnel were analyzed based on the example of the new No.1 diversion tunnel construction underpassing the existing No.2 tunnel at the Xi'an hydropower station of Zuoquan County using the empirical equation methods and three-dimensional numerical simulations.The results provided the affected area and deformation rule of railway tunnel and the range of controlled blasting construction of the diversion tunnel.The treatment measures for the railway tunnel were proposed to ensure the safety of the lining structure of the existing railway tunnel when there was blasting construction in the diversion tunnel.
