Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical nursing pathway(CNP) mode of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in patients with length of stay, hospital costs and quality of care. Methods 120 patients were randomly divided into two groups.60 patients of the observation group were given the CNP model of the care path forms(version nurses and patient version),60 patients of the control group were given conventional care model, then the days of waiting for surgery, the first exhaust time, the first time out of bed for activity, the first time going to the toilet, the first time for eating, length of stay, hospitalization costs and the grasping situation of health knowledge, the degree of nursing satisfaction and other indicators were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The days of waiting for surgery, the first exhaust time, the first time out of bed for activity, the first time going to the toilet, the first time for eating, length of stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P 0.01),the hospitalization costs in the observation group were also less than that in the control group significantly(P 0.01),the degree of nursing satisfaction was significantly higher in the observation group compared with the control group(P 0.01).Conclusion Laparoscopic cholecystectomy for patients with CNP can improve care initiative, enhance the patient's self-care ability, improve patient health knowledge level, closen nurse-patient relationship, improve quality of care, and reduce the number of hospitalization days ultimately, control the hospitalization costs.
