Abstract

In this paper, the compositions, characteristics and rheology mechanism of a new kind of smart material magnetorheological fluids (MRF) were introduced firstly. Based on this intelligent material, a type damper was designed, and its structure, principle and mechanics characteristics were studied. Application foreground of MR fluids and its devices was prospected.
