Abstract
Based on CA498 natural aspirated engine,this paper presents a study on effects of exhaust emissions and performance with matching after-treatment and optimization of injection timing.The results show that: after optimized injection timing,together with after treatment device,the emission can meet Euro III legislation requirement.But because of reduced injection timing and increased exhaust back pressure,the BSFC of the engine will be increased of 8%.
