Abstract

Objective To investigate the job stressors and coping styles among nurses having different working years.Method One hundred and nine clinical nurses from 3 Grade-III Class-A military hospitals were recruited and investigated with Job Stressor Scale and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire.Results ①There was no significant difference in the total score of job stressors among nurses having different working years(P0.05),but the senior nurses showed significantly higher scores in the factor of professional development and workload(P0.01).②The main job stressors were different among nurses having different working years.③There was no significant difference in the score of coping styles(P0.05).Conclusion There are different job stressors among nurses having different working years.Nursing administrators should take corresponding measures to relieve nurses' job stress according to their working years.
