Abstract
The theoretical basis for foundation settlement calculation of hydraulic architectures is introduced as well as the steps of unilateral layer wise summation method in foundation settlement calculation.Combined with practical example the practicability of this method is verified.Author points out that the settlement calculation results can be used for discrimination of foundation to evaluate the safety of hydraulic architecture.
