On analysis of foundation settlement calculation

Abstract
The paper illustrates the definition of the foundation settlement content,analyzes three methods for the foundation settlement calculation,that is,the lay-wise summation method,the elastic dynamic formula and the method recommended by the regulation of the foundation basement design,and points out the main point is to master the principle of the foundation settlement,the applied scope of all kinds of calculation methods and the checking of the calculation parameter in learning the foundation settlement calculation.
