"China West Phenomenon" in the Tide of Constructing Schools in the Late Qing Dynasty——A Historical Review on the Rising of Sichuan New Education in the Late Qing Dynasty

With the spreading of capitalist power and development of nationalist capital and bureaucratic capital in Sichuan,various types of new schools appeared and the traditional feudal education system began to collapse.And thus Sochuan education started the modernization process in the agonizing reform.Although starting relatively later than other regions,Sichuan modern education achieved more drastically,and turned to be one of the regions with the most developed education system and a representative region for carrying out new education.Modern education development in Sichuan,as an important part of Sichuan modernization and China's education modernization,exerted deep impact on modern social reform in Sichuan,promoted knowledge updating among common people and their idea renewing,and made great contribution to the social reform of modern Sichuan.
