Abstract

In the trend of setting up women schools in late Qing Dynasty,Sichuan province was one of the forerunners,and it is ranked as No.3.Its appearance and development is the result of the impulse of Qing government and local officials,and is also an important component of Sichuan's modernization and the modernization of Chinese education.Meanwhile,it brought great influence to modern Sichuan's social reform,propelled Sichuan women's liberation and broadened their minds,and promoted the transformation of general mood of society.
