Abstract

The polysaccharide in seabuckthorn leaves was determined with phenol-sulfuric acid at 490nm by spectrophotometry. The linear range is of 10.0—71.0μg/mL with r=0.9981.The conversion factor(f) is 3.271.The contents of polysaccharide of seabuckthorn leaves in different seasons at same place are:3.39% in May,3.94% in July and 4.42% in September respectively. The average recovery is 99.07% with RSD of 3.22%.
