Abstract
Objective To find out the status of rotavirus infection in diarrhea infants and young children with age of 1 month to 2 years in our hospital.Methods The stool specimens were measured in 768 cases with diarrhea by ELISA.Results In 768 cases of infantile diarrhea,512 cases of rotavirus infection were detected,with the average positive rate of 66.7%,and occurred in the fall and winter seasons.Conclusion Rotavirus is one of the main reasons to cause infants diarrhea,the testing of rotavirus antigen in dejecta samples provides a valuable basis for clinic to diagnose this disease.
