On Li Bai ’s Farewell Poems

Li Bai’s farewell poem is an important part of his poems.Taken two years in Chang’an as a transition,his farewell poems in early period are clear and pure,and they are often written with met-rical pattern.These poems mainly express the emotion of hating departing.But his farewell poems in later period are written more with free style,and feelings are more plentiful and complicated.On the other hand,although Li Bai’s farewell poems reflects the Tang dynasty’s energetic and enterprising times spirit together with other poets,such as Wang Wei,Cen Shen,he has his own characteristic in feeling expression,imagery using and so on.
