Expressing the Feelings of Parting with His Own Originality——On Farewell Poem Written by Liu Yong

Liu Yong (a poet in the Northern Song Dynasty) had his own knack in writing Farewell Poem.He often made full use of the system of Man-Ci-Chang-Diao (a kind of form featured with is long tone in poems).Through portraying the characters, setting the background of the space and time,using the means of narrative in his poems, the poet described fully the feelings of parting,developed and enriched the art ofexpr -ession in farewell poems.
