Analysis on culture and drug resistance test results of mycoplasma in 1818 patients with urogenital infection

Objective To study the drug resistance status of urogenital ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and mycoplasma hominis(Mh) of mycoplasma collected from the outpatients in the gynecology and obstetrics,STD and urological department,and provide the reference for the clinical remedy.Methods Uu and Mh were detected in mycoplasma biological test kit while antibiotical resistance test were carried out.The data from June 2008 to December 2009 were statistically analyzed.Results Mycoplasma positive rate of the 1818 samples was 52.1%.Josamycin,minocycline,doxycycline and tetracycline are the most effective antibiotics in all the 3 types of infection.Conclusion Mycoplasma infection and drug resistance in Taixing region were serious;There exist differences between the drug resistance spectrum of Uu and Mh,pristinamycin,minocycline and doxycycline could be the preferred antibiotics to cure mycoplasma infection currently.
