Expression and significance of heat shock protein 70 and bcl-2 protein in adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary gland

Objective To study the expression of Hsp70,bcl-2 in adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary gland and discuss the the relationship with parotid carcinomas' occurrence、development and clinical significance.Methods 36 cases of adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary gland were chosen and the expression of Hsp70,bcl-2 was studied by the method of immunohistochemistry,10cases of plemorphic adenoma were chosen as control group.Results Both Hsp70 were aliomycin stain in nucleus and cytoplasm,the positive rates of them were86.1%,there were significant difference compared with control group(P0.01).Bcl-2 was aliomycin or brown stain,the positive expression was 75% and higher than in the control group(P0.05).The expression of Hsp70 was positive correlation(P0.05) with clinical stage、histologiy type and distant metastasis,and was irrelevant with local recurrence.Bcl-2 showed positive correlation with clinical stage(P0.05),and irrelevant with histology type、local recurrence and distant metastasis(P0.05).Conclusion Conclusion The expression of Hsp70 could be one of the guidance to evaluate the prognosis.There wasn't correlationbetween Hsp70 and bcl-2 expressed in SACC(P0.05),and there wasn't notable coorperative relationship between them,Hsp70 and bcl-2 can inhibit apoptosis by different ways.
