Abstract

Production of sugar with rice straw degradation by fermentation with multi-strains of Pleurotus ostreatus,Trichoderma reesei and Penicillium, which were preserved in our laboratory, were studied.Fermentation conditions including straw content, wheat bran content, inoculation time, temperature, and initial pH values were optimized. The best conditions were: 6% of straw,3% of wheat bran, fermentation with P.ostreatus for 7 d under 28℃ with initial pH at 6,and followed with addition of T.reesei and Penicillium sp.and fermentation for 3 d under 32℃.Sugar content could reach 19.52 mg/ml,which was 1.28 times as before. Results of apparent of structure of matrix with scanning electron microscope showed that fermentation with mixed strains can well break and degradation lignin, cellulose and semi cellulose structures of straws.
