Abstract
A 3-dimensional simulation system of city flood routing is constructed based on flood hydro-mathematical model and further studies were taken on the key techniques in this simulation system.It is proved that the operating speed of model-ing was improved greatly when hydraulic model was introduced into the 3D visualization technique.As an example,the 3D terrain city scene and its flood routing simulation were constructed for Ma’anshan in Anhui province.This research has very important value to hydraulic project and city flood protection.
