Abstract
The article advances the concepts of multi-resolution flood routing model、the extensive flood routing model and the fine flood routing model.Using ArcGIS Engine of the ESRI as the platform of constructing flood routing model has particularly analyzed the basic principles and methods of the extensive flood routing model and the fine flood routing model, and designed the concrete extensive flood routing model and fine flood routing model. Finally the article draws the following conclusion in using statistical analysis method: the system's calculation of the reservoir storage capacity and the submergence area is more precise than the conventional method;the reservoir management information system with the application of the multi-resolution flood routing model runs faster in computers than the opposite one and realizes visualization in real-time and integrative manner.
