Abstract
Niuti Area lies in Hanbin district,Ankang City,which is also a Gan Dialectal Island caused by the immigrants from Hubei and Hunan provinces in the early Qin dynasty.The changes of the two-word phrases of Gan dialect in Niuti area appear to be very complex.However,the phonological explanation to the principle and nature of the changes bears great value to promote the study of the theory on tone changes of the dialect.
