Abstract

Grammatical metaphor,which is different from lexical metaphor and cognitive metaphor,can be realized on the ideational,interpersonal and textual levels.Grammatical metaphor essentially is a cognitive based constructing process in which the grammatical forms shift leads to functional transference within the text.Grammatical metaphor theory assists language teaching,especially writing teaching a lot.Enlightened from grammatical metaphor,we are aware in different context environments,the different use of language is needed.
